When your client is considering or facing divorce,
what is the first thing they should do?
How would you like to feel better prepared to answer this question?
As you know, divorce impacts your clients emotionally, spiritually, financially and legally. There is a lot to get in order and sometimes contacting an attorney or mediator is NOT the first step.
What many people need is a guide or a companion. This is why my colleague Adina Laver developed the Divorce Companion program – a self-guided, interactive, multi-media program that can help you help your clients get off on the right foot for a healthy divorce.
We would like to invite you the 3rd Divorce Companion Information Meeting this summer, hosted by Ruth Feinblum, LCSW of Growth Solutions Counseling.
When: July 29, 2014
When : 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Where: 2 Logan Square – 100 North 18th Street, Suite 300
At this meeting you will:
- Learn about a new resource that was designed to integrate with your counseling services while providing specialized support for divorcing clients
- Increase your own understanding of the divorce issues facing your clients
- Explore how you can earn some additional revenue for your practice
One of your colleagues, Stephanie Newberg, LMFT, was on the development team for the Divorce Companion and this is what she has to say:
“The Divorce Companion is a wonderful, self-guided tool to help those who are traversing separation and divorce feel informed and confident in their decision-making. Adina writes in an authentic and honest manner and is committed to helping people make the healthiest choices for themselves and their families.”
The Divorce Companion is not about telling people what to do but about asking the right questions and guiding through reflective exercises, so that along with your guidance, your clients can navigate this transition with confidence. You can watch a video about it at www.divorcecompanion.com.
I look forward to seeing you on the 29th. Please contact me with any questions at adina@divorceessentails.net or 610-324-5608.
