Are you anxious throughout the day?
Can you get frozen with fear over your performance at school or at work?
Do you worry about other people liking you?
Are your anxieties causing friction in your relationship?
Do your loved ones think that you can see a small problem as a crisis?
If you want to be less worried and more relaxed, therapy can help.
When I work with people struggling with anxiety, my main interventions are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices. We work to identify the anxious thoughts that prevent you from doing things you want to do. Some of these thoughts are conscious and some are subconscious. We will also use mindfulness techniques to become aware of the physiological reaction to anxiety.
